Beginners Course in Touch Therapy

(with Clinical Education in Massage Therapy)

This course introduces participants to the basic principles and theory of touch therapy as well as the clinical aspect of massage practice. Participants will learn (1) basic anatomy, physiology and kinesiology; (2) indications, contraindications and precautions; (3) hygiene and sanitary practices; (4) massage code of ethics; and (4) initial clinical evaluation and vital signs in massage therapy. This beginners course is pre-requisite for all learning and further study at Body Options. Participants with previous massage instructions and studies may skip this course upon evaluation of equivalent study and practice.
